Power Protein Balls

These little guys are certainly packing a punch, perfect for pre-workout, post-workout, an energy slump, a sweet treat or just a healthy snack on the go. Beware, they are very addictive and they will seem to disappear very quickly – like they do in my house!


You can play around with the recipe but try to keep the nutritional value, and of course you do not need to use protein if you do not use it. (I used Labrada Lean pro 8, chocolate flavour) But I think LeanPro 8 Cookies & Cream would be amazing!

Makes 20-25 (Depending on size)

1 cup Oats
1 tbsp Chia Seeds
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1 scoop Protein  
1-2 tbsp Raisins
3 tbsp Smooth Peanut Butter 
3 tbsp Agave Syrup (You can use honey or regular syrup)

Pop all of the above ingredients into a large bowl in the order listed, mix with a spoon until the mixture is stiff but well blended. If the mixture seems too dry, then at 1-2 tbsp of milk to moisten. Cover and leave to rest in the refrigerator for 20 mins.

After 20 mins, remove the bowl and begin to form balls using your (clean) hands roughly the size of a small bouncy ball. You can however make them whichever size you want, but I think just bite size is perfect and you will easily get 25.

Store in box, and keep refrigerated.
